Burning Man Costume Camps & Ashtrays

In 2022, during the Burning Man (BM) held in Black Rock City, Nevada, the founder of FUNDSTUME collaborated with several camps dedicated to costume art, including Kostume Kult and Cosplay Central. Together, they distributed reusable, light-up pocket ashtrays aimed at celebrating and promoting costume art, and inspired on the BM principles of radical self-expression, leave no trace, and gifting. This initiative, aimed at celebrating costume art, was carried out in collaboration with costume designer Yaiza Pinillos of The Canary Islands, Spain, and environmental solutions expert Jack Elliman of Brain Garden, Canada.
